SAN JUAN VINEYARDS 2006 RIESLING Riesling was introduced to our lineup of wines in 2007, and we are pleased to offer this off-dry style making it a favorite for all those who enjoy a refreshing glass of Riesling. Our Riesling is complex in flavors with apricot mingling on the nose. Pear and apple flavors come together with lilac on the palate in a balanced off-dry style making it a perfect partner for food. Try our Riesling with your favorite light summer fares and poultry entrees. The 2006 Riesling was awarded a Gold Medal at the WA Wine Competition, Silver Medals at competitions including the prestigious Riverside State Fair Wine Competition. Wine Press NW awarded it a “Double Gold” in their judging of Gold Medal wines for 2007. The Riesling was sourced from Smasne Bros. Farms in the Yakima Valley, and was hand picked at 24 Brix, and was released in May, 2007.
