SAN JUAN VINEYARDS 2004 GEWURZTRAMINER

This is a classic Gewurztraminer with hints of peach, apple and spice on the palate finishing with a touch of grapefruit. It is a bit sweeter than our previous vintages, but is very characteristic in style.

The fruit was fermented using Ausmahausen yeast. And, the fruit came from Kiona Vineyards on Red Mountain in the Columbia Valley.

It is excellent with shellfish, as a luncheon wine and also goes great with a Pear Tarte or Apple Pie. Think of this Gewurztraminer as you prepare your holiday meals especially at Thanksgiving.

The Gewurztraminer won a GOLD MEDAL at the prestigious Washington Wine Competition in June, 2006.
