 SAN JUAN VINEYARDS 2008 AFTERGLOW / ROSE An awesome Rose wine with aromas of strawberries, peaches and oranges. The mid-palate overflows with fresh red berry flavors with a clean, spicy finish. The Afterglow is our Estate Madeleine Angevine (63%) co-fermented with 22% Cabernet Franc, Destiny Ridge and Alder Ridge vineyards, Horse heaven Hills AVA; 11% Cabernet Sauvignon, Destiny Ridge Vineyard, Horse Heaven Hills AVA, and a bit of Sangiovese (4%). Fermentation was 7@5 in neutral Frnch barrels and 28% was stainless tank fermented. The Rose was fermented to dryness.
