SAN JUAN VINEYARDS 2006 CHARDONNAY Our 2006 Chardonnay has a pale straw color and aromas of white flowers and flint with citrus undertones. Flavors of white peach and minerals are supported with a kiss of oak. This vintage was barrel aged for 8 months using 76% French Oak of which 8% was NEW French Oak. Malolactic fermentation 32% complete. The Chardonnay was sourced from Kestrel View Estates, Wente Clone at 23.5 Brix. The Chardonnay was awarded a Silver Medal at the Tri-Cities Wine Festival in November, 2007. The Chardonnay is an excellent food partner for Poultry dishes and a nice Caesar Salad. It can be found locally in restaurants, and has become a very popular tasting room wine to sip on the deck. 2006 Chardonnay: |
