SAN JUAN VINEYARDS 2006 CABERNET SAUVIGNON This Cab has a nice rose-brick color with a bouquet of blackberry and currant. There is a lot of flavor on the mid palate with cherry and more blackberry finishing with a nice hit of oak. The Cabernet was sourced from Kestrel View Estates as was all our 2006 fruit from the other side. It was aged in oak for 20 months using a combination of French, American and Hungarian oak. Harvest was on November 1, 2006. Bottling was on July 22, 2008 and 324 cases were bottled with a release of May, 2009. Alcohol: 14.3% Retail Price is $20.00 |
