SAN JUAN VINEYARDS 2006 SYRAH The Syrah has been a winner for San Juan Vineyards year after year. This one has blackberry and a spicy vanilla rose with huckleberry and plum on the palate finishing with a nice hint of oak and vanilla. The Syrah fruit was harvested on October 30, 2006. It was aged in Oak for 20 months, French, American and Hungarian Oak. Bottling was July 22, 2008 and 292 cases were bottled. The release of the 2006 Syrah was May, 2009.
